This is a nice 2001 Porsche Boxster 2.7L with just about 85000 miles. I am selling it because I will be attending graduate school in the fall and commuting with my Jetta TDI. This car has never seen winters, rarely in the rain, always in the garage. I store it in an aircraft hanger during the winter with a cover on it. I am always looking at other Boxsters and this is one of the cleanest I have seen. It has new spark plugs, battery, brakes, fuel filter. Recent tires all wheel alignment from Porsche and air filter. Runs great. 9.25 out of 10 cosmetically. Check engine light on, and code reader calls for mass air flow sensor problem, probably just needs to be cleaned and is currently under investigation. Everything else works as it should, power windows, mirrors, roof, climate control with icy cold AC. Single Porsche CD player. This car has a luxury touring package I believe because it is one of the few that I have seen that has leather trimmed door panels instead of the ugly plastic type. It has dual power seats with driver 3 position memory. The major flaw is that the window on the canvas roof is cracked and has been cracked since I bought it 3 years ago. This vintage is notorious for this happening from careless owners who do not take the time to check to see if the fragile and brittle when the cold window is folding properly upon retracting. The canvas however is in good shape with absolutely no leaks otherwise. I always hand wash my car and drive it primarily for pleasure crusies so the crack in the rear window has never been a problem for me. Hence included in the sale is a complete factory canvas used in fair shape with seals and a broken but mostly complete frame for parts. The front seal for the roof from pelican parts is over 1000$ and I have an extra from said top. The sale also includes a custom M&K aircraft stainless exhaust. The factory exhaust is on the car now because I am an old soul who loves the sound of the motor but near straight pipe, flow through exhaust is too much for my ears. It did sound awesome though. If purchased for buy it now price sale will include extra 5 spoke Porsche turbo twist wheels and center caps (no tires) wheels appear to be in good condition and originally came with car.
