You are bidding on a very rare 1971 GTO convertible that came with the 400 cu. Engine and 3speed manual transmission (the car currently has a small block chevy engine and automatic transmission). This is one of 79 1971 GTO Convertibles to have the 400 engine with manual transmission. The car has PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) Documentation showing the car was built with the following options: GTO Convertible G70x14 White Letter Tires Rally II Wheels Tinted Windsheild Push Button Radio Variable Ratio Power Steering Stripes Vnyl (Judge Stripes without Judge badges) WT Code 400 Cubic Inch Engine 3 Speed manual Transmission The original Color is Lucerne Blue with black interior and a white top. This was a beautiful color combination when it was new with the factory stripes. This car was shipped to Quality Pontiac Inc. in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. However the car will need a complete restoration. It will need complete floor and trunk pans. It also has the incorrect motor and transmission. I do not have the original motor or transmission. The car appears to have been painted black along with the engine swap, and then let sit outside. This is a very restorable car, but again it will need a Total Restoration.
