1984 Mercedes Benz 300CD-T turbo diesel The Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel coupe is a beautiful and rare classic that is also incredibly durable; Making it an elegant and sensible daily driver. This paticular coupe is a very nice example... it looks amazing from every angle. Finished in black with palomino interior, it is a striking combination. The body is clean and straight . The black paint looks like glass. The beautiful “Palomino” interior is exceptional. The seats are in great shape. The headliner is flawless. The Zebrano wood trim is brilliant and glossy. Even the control switches show minimal wear. But what really sets this coupe apart is the brand new carpet… the original carpet was still decent, but I wanted the interior of this coupe to look as close to new as possible. Therefore I replaced the entire carpet with the factory Mercedes feintuft velour carpet; resulting in a very impressive interior that does feel and look (almost) like new! Please note, there is a small scratch on the chrome part of the rear bumper (see pic below). Aside from its good looks, this coupe also runs and drives great! The transmission shifts flawlessly. The engine starts right up, idles smooth and has great power. The air conditioning works well and blows out cold. All of the windows and the sunroof work. The radio does work well, as does the power antenna. I do still have the car's original Becker radio for those who would be interested.The maintenance is all up to date. The car was recently serviced- all filters were replaced, oil change and brakes and other misc items were done. This beautiful coupe is sure to please! I welcome your questions and comments!
