Up for sale is my 1982 Honda CBX. I have owned it since 1986. I bought it from the original owner; the bike had 2000 miles on it. The bike now has 17k plus miles on it. I’m pretty sure that if your looking at this listing that you know all about the “Mighty CBX”. I would rate this one a 9 1/2 out of 10. It has a small scratch, an inch or so long, on the top of the front fender, and a small crack in the middle of the right side upper fairing from a too tight of a tie down on it’s last trip in the truck. The only two items I can think of that it needs is the valve cover could use polishing and a new set of tires shortly/ SERVICE PERFORMED WITHIN THE LAST 200 MILES Rebuilt front and rear brake calipers with new o-rings, brake pads and one-way check vale bleeder screws. (Oh so easy to use) Rebuilt front and rear brake master cylinders. New custom made stainless steel brake lines. The rear Pro-Link shock linkage was dismantled and all of the pivot points cleaned an lubricated The cylinder head reconditioned, a couple of exhaust valve seals were leaking so I replaced all 24 seals, cleaned and lapped, all of the valves and replaced a few shims. The shims are now all within Honda specifications. New gaskets installed throughout. A brand new endless drive chain installed. A brand new maintain ace free battery/ The carburetors were completely dismantled and refitted with a K&N stage 1 jet kit, all 32 o-rings between the carburetors were replaced including the air vent tubes made of billet aluminum from Tim’s CBX. Then synchronized and reset the air pilot screws. A new OEM style K&N air filter was installed. Besides any above-mentioned non-stock items I installed a Supertrap 6 into 2 stainless steel exhaust system and two Hondaline air temperature and clock gauges. You must arrange pickup yourself, I’m unable to deliver or crate it. The bike is sold as is; where is without warranty.
