Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 1968 Ford Bronco with a 7 1/2 ' Western manual angle snowplow . It starts, stops, runs , and drives ! I've owned it since 1986, used it mostly in the winter to plow the parking lot and driveway for my business ( restaurant) . As far as I know, it was originally purchased by a garage as a service vehicle, as it still has the plug on the side of the front fender for jumper cables . Not the original engine, it was changed prior to me buying it . It now has a 1977 250 CID engine from a Ford Maverick I think . Engine has a ticking noise in it, lifter , wrist pin or something, been that way since I owned it, engine runs smoothly doesn't leak or burn any oil . It has the three speed (on the tree) manual transmission, Ford 9" rear , Dana front . Trans and transfer case shift smoothly, never any problems there, the clutch was replaced around 1994 , probably less than 200 miles ago ! Very low geared, 456's probably, 60-65 MPH, and she's screamin' ! I have a clean PA title, vehicle has not been registered since I've owned it . Body is very rusty, except for the doors, hood , and top . Frame still looks solid .Rear wheel openings haven't even been cut ! I replaced the floor on the driver's side, the passenger side needs repair . The rear window was replaced with a piece of plexiglass . I did away with the vacuum wipers, replaced then with electric from a 1977 Bronco . The wipers have the delay function, I mounted the switch near the wiper motor inside above the windshield . Also went to an electric fuel pump, eases starting when it sits for a period of time . The shift collar on the steering column was replaced a few years ago along with the linkage bushings . I never reinstalled the turn signal switch and wiring, but it's in the glove box . Heater works, lights work, radio works, gauges work except for the gas gauge . Has dual (plastic) gas tanks, the switch over valve works properly . The carb. was rebuilt along with new plugs , points, condenser, coil, and distributor cap a couple of years ago . Mileage shows 59135, only a couple of hundred more from when I bought it, and the previous owner said it was original, but who knows . The snowplow pump needs to be replaced/rebuilt as it hardly raises the plow when the fluid warms up, it runs off a belt on the engine . The missing body side trim pieces are included .The seats, were pulled from a mid 80's VW Scirocco, very comfortable, but a bit tricky to get into on the drivers side around the steering wheel . Overall, this ole' Bronco has been a great truck . It has served me well . The only reason I'm selling it is because I bought an older Jeep Wrangler with a power angle plow, automatic trans, and power steering . I'm getting lazy in my old age ! NO RESERVE , High Bid Wins ! Also with the sale goes an extra trans and transfer case, from a 1977 Bronco . If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, I'll respond promptly . Thank you . . .On Oct-28-11 at 13:34:01 PDT, seller added the following information: This Bronco is also being offered for sale locally, and have been offered $1500.00 for it earlier today (10/28) , but I said that I would wait till the auction's end to be fair to anybody interested . So unless your willing to meet or exceed that offer, don't bother to bid .
