1971 Ford Mustang Convertible. Built in the Dearborn Michigan Plant. Sold new in Kansas City. 302, with a 4 speed that has replaced the original automatic. Has factory air, but it does not cool. Not sure why. The NEW convertible top works as designed. Came with tinted windows/glass/windshield (all good with NO cracks), Power Steering, & power front DISC brakes. Starts and runs great. Does not smoke. This car has been 98% restored, but the terrible drought that has led to a very poor farming season here in the midwest is forcing the owner to let go of it. There has been a multitude of new parts added over the last couple years, and I am going to name a few of them now: new battery: alternator: both bumpers: carpet: convertible top: chrome wheels: front springs: ALL 4 shocks: ALL front end parts including ball joints, and HEAVY stabilizers: iPod compatible radio (original radio in trunk, along with a duplicate 4 barrel Holly carb with a fresh rebuild): tires: & many other trim/interior parts. The dash panel & board are in excellent condition with no damage. The trunk and interior pans are solid. The seats are beautiful. There is some loose stitching on the driver side seat on the left edge. There is a crack in the grill that is minor. There are some scuff marks on a couple of the interior trim panels as seen in the pics. There is an oil drip that appears to be coming from a valve cover, but we are not positive about that. Odometer reads about 23,750. Not sure if that is original miles or not. Read about 20,000 when the currant owner purchased it a couple years ago. Will be a local pickup about 60 miles south of kansas city missouri, or I can help arrange a transport with a reputable, licensed, and insured carrier from our area. Old car price guide is showing this car in this condition to have a value of between 17 & 19K. We know how things are, so if you cant do the BIN, go ahead and send your best offer for us to consider, as this car WILL sell. I have done the best I can to describe this nice car. I need to mention as well that the body is in outstanding condition, with NO flaws in the paint of any kind. It was a VERY windy and dusty day when I took the pics, so the car is actually much more beautiful than it appears!
