Vehicle Detail
Sorry for relisting this item eBayers. A bidder apparently hit the buy it now button and did not mean to. After calling eBay for some assistance, the item was relisted. This was a project car, but (like so many others) I no longer am able to continue with my project. Before I continue...I am posting a 1989 supra on here as well because it has several high end parts on it as well. The last time that I started the car was a little over a year ago, so my warranty is that there is absolutely no warranty on any of the parts or the car itself. I know it is not good advertising, but it is only right to tell the good with the bad. A brief description: The car was purchased several years ago wrecked. This was not my first Supra, so I fixed it up and got a reconstructed title. It ran for a year and then the famous head gasket blew. From there, I started replacing and upgrading part after part. The car does not run and is not currently able to run. I began selling a few parts here and there some time ago. If you want this car to run, the main purchases I would make would be an aftermarket engine management and fuel dilivery computer. I know AEM and a few other companies made them and/or are still making them. The parts list: It has a OBX T04R turbo. The intercooler is a Treadstone (I think) that has a piece together piping system. The air flow meter was removed and a MAF-T controller was installed with a Corvette afm and a Nissan 90mm (85mm) throttle body. The air pluenum is an aftermarket that does not cross over the engine like the stock would...I ordered it from one of the supra forum guys when he was making them. The head was decked, ported, and polished when the head gasket blew. The injectors have been upgraded to 680cc from stock 440cc. The fuel pump is a 255 pound pump. The fuel pressure regulator is from Aeromotive. There used to be a Apex'i Air Flow Controller, but it was removed and the wiring at the ecu plug needs soldered back together if you want to attempt to make it run.....again skip the piggy-back systems for the ecu and go with an engine management system. If the car sells for $2100 of higher I will throw in an unused, still in the box, Apex'i AVCR (today's value between $300 and $500). The transmission has a centerforce stage 2 clutch and I'm not 100% sure that the transmission is a R154 or not. I do have the transmission that came with the car. The fork broke initially and it took months to get one, so I installed a different transmission (that arrived within days). The battery was relocated to the rear hatch area. A 3" stainless exhaust was installed with a Megan 3" inlet and 4" outlet muffler. The gauges are white faced to match the (some installed, some not) Phase gauges. The hood is a drift style hood. There is currently a 3mm bead HKS metal head gasket installed and there is also a brand new 2mm bead HKS metal head gasket if you want to use it instead. The title is ready for transfer. There is probably more, but it has been some time since I even looked at the car. If there are any questions please feel free to ask. On Oct-20-11 at 05:20:07 PDT, seller added the following information: PICTURES:!!!!!!! I had a question reguarding the pictures. The black Supra is the car that this auction is for. It has the engine that is pictured. The red/gray Supra is listed on a different auction. I am still attempting to revise the pictures to alleviate some of the confusion. On Oct-20-11 at 09:53:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Okay, so I have no idea how to remove some of the photos that have multiple cars. I have, however, added a few more pictures of the car. One of the front, rear, and inside.
