I'm a retired professional truck driver that knows how to drive and care for a truck. I purchased this vehicle "NEW" in 1999 so my wife and I could pull our 26 foot 5th wheel camper. Most of the 172,000 miles have been long haul, over the road miles. I'm a non-smoker so the cab and upholstery are almost new. From the pictures you can see that this truck is equipped with a sliding 5th wheel with electronic trailer brakes installed . The 2 front tires are brand new and the 4 back tires have approximately 50% tread left. Both batteries were purchased 1 year ago and still carry 3 more years of warranty through Wal-Mart. This truck has a Power Stroke Turbo 7.3 Liter Diesel engine with a heavy duty automatic transmission. Everything works on this truck to include the AC, Power Windows, Power Seats, Heater, Mirrors, and Brakes to name a few. The truck also has a block heater for those colder climates and running boards to make entry easier. I also installed a K & N Filter Charger. The only real negative this truck has are the two holes in the dually fenders (see pictures). The dually fenders are plastic and I tried to squeeze into a parking spot that was too small. Both fenders hit the concrete barrier and hence the holes. Functionally the truck was not damaged but, cosmetically you can see the results. I did a very rough patch job using fiberglass tape. It wasn't pretty but, it covered the damage. Regarding the metal parts of the truck, there is absolutely no rust! You really won't find a better 1999 F350 with 170,000 miles on it.
