TODAY 10-15 THE WIND DROPPED A BRANCH ON THE HOOD. IT NOW HAS A SMALL DENT ON THE HOOD. I MAY HAVE ANOTHER HOOD. THE PICTURE SHOWING THE DENT IS UPDATED NOW. I noticed today 11-16 the branch must have cracked the windshield too, down the center. I have a 1996 SE probe 4 cylinder 5 speed. I bought this thinking i had time to fix it, i don`t. Rather than let it set I am selling it. It only has 115,300 miles. The car blows clouds of water vapor out the tail pipe. It needs a motor replacement or fix. I am not sure anyhow i planed to just change out the motor. I bought this car for me to keep not sell but I can not get the engine job I am working on done, truly no time for this one. It has like new TOYO tires. I see some new suspension parts. The exhaust is good, the interior is clean with one little hole in the driver seat. K&N intake, plugs, wires & cap replaced. Flip up headlights work. It had a water pump, timing belt replaced and all belts replaced, my guess is it might have been to late for the motor when the water pump was changed. The body is faded, pretty straight with some scratches. It has an Alpine stereo in the dash. I have drove it so i know the tranny shifts fine & the clutch works good. The brakes work good too. It drives nice, you just can`t drive this way. It will need to be towed. The starter will not engage, i am not sure if it might need a starter. When i bought it I was told it ran so I wanted to make my own assessment, I push started it with my pick up. It did just like they said run bad & blow smoke. I have owned 13 of these probes a motor change is no big deal so i bought it. But now i just don`t have time. I would like 900 / (700 now because of the tree branch dent) or best offer if this does not sell, i have over 900 in it. I hate to scrap it, but might part it for the tranny & tires hatch etc It is for sale locally, so if it sells i reserve the right to end this ad at any time.
