Vehicle Detail

A beautiful Guards Red 1967 Porsche that runs like a top. A nice driver that shows well and needs nothing. 118,270 miles. 4 speed trans, rare early 911s front spoiler, OEM fuchs. The original machine work on this rebuilt engine was performed by Harry Pellow (aka: The Maestro, a famous Porsche 356 mechanic who wrote a number of books on the topic) and assembled by Richard Troy of 356 Coachworks. The engine was totally dynamically balanced down to the cooling fan, flywheel and pressure plate. Built using NPR 86mm pistons, a very reliable and proven piston/cylinder combination that bumps the displacement of the engine from 1600cc to 1720cc. Set up this engine with Weber 40IDF carburetors, upgraded with the venturi's from Weber 44's and re-jetted to match. Retrofitted the original Solex air filters to fit the Weber carbs, this keeps intake noise to a minimum and uses stock replaceable paper filter elements. This engine currently has less than 30k miles on it since it's rebuild and it went through a careful and proper break-in period, upgraded both the front and rear engine/transaxle mounts to reduce noise transmitted to the passenger cabin as well. The Headlights are kind of special, they're original vintage H4 headlights, imported Marchal lenses and lamps behind original Hella glass covers, chrome rims. You can't get better looking or performing headlights that match the vintage look for this car. The seats are from a later 911 and are much more comfortable but the car comes with the original seats. The paint looks good but is about 10 years old and has some minor cracking in a few places, overall very presentable. Drips a couple drops of oil but in very good mechanical condition. No Rust, she's a California car. Please contact for more information. All sales final. $500 deposit due within 24hr. Will assist but not responsible for shipping.
