I purchased it new in January of 2004 at Mercedes Benz of San Francisco. Always serviced by Mercedes Benz dealers according to factory maintenance schedule. I have all receipts and service booked stamped for all required services. Mobil One synthetic oil always used in engine. Vehicle all stock except for 2011 front grille. Major repairs (all with factory parts through dealer service department) include new transmission (2011) and new A/C compressor (2011). Vehicle DID have a small low-speed "fender bender" in January of 2011. Basically, another car and G side-swiped each other at very low speeds. Only contact was front corners of both cars. Accident reported to police, DMV and insurance companies. Only damage to G was very front of passenger side fender, fender flare, and corner of bumper. NO DAMAGE to frame, driveline (e.g. CV joint), suspension, hood, headlight, grille, running board, or any other part of passenger side of G. Fenders on G bolt off/on, so repairs easy. No welding or cutting. All replacement parts are Mercedes factory parts; repairs done at Mercedes dealer. While G in shop, I had some minor custom work done -- original grille updated to 2011 grille, installed 2011 (brighter) turn signals, and had hood repainted to remove a lot of minor stone chips on leading edge of hood. The bill I paid was a combination of collision repairs and not-necessary-but-look-cool custom upgrades. Total was about $2 K. Bottom line -- repairs done so well, they are really impossible to detect. And should in no way diminish value of car.
