1950 Ford F1 Pickup Truck 351 V8 No reserve on this auction. Purchased 25 years ago in Arizona. I was told the truck was used in the early 50s as a bootlegger vehicle. There was a bullet hole in the right rear side of the box between the fender and cab. Can be seen in the last pictures. I plugged the hole but left it visible for the aesthetics This is a great running truck and a real eye catcher. The appraiser from my insurance company placed the value at $26,000. Body and bed are 99% original metal except for the fiber glass fenders. Under carriage is clean, no rust as this truck has always been stored winters. System has been up graded to 12 volts. The original gauges (6 volt ) are in working order but not connected. I did not want to chance burning them out so I mounted a set of chrome 12 volt gauges are mounted under the center consol. Restored and customized with the items listed below. * 1950 Ford F1 pickup. * 1972 remanufactured 351 Windsor engine w/ approximately 7700 miles on engine and transmission. * 1969 Mustang 4 speed transmission. * Dayna rear end S.P. 1950, rebuilt. * Straight axel rebuilt with copper bushings. * Elderbrock intake & 350 carb. * Dual exhaust. * Custom traction bars and sway bar rear. * 4 core radiator. * 31/10/50 rear tires. * Fiber glass fenders. * Chrome wheels. * Tongue and groove wood bed. * Custom vinyl Box cover. * Has all 4 manufacturers options. Heater, toolbox behind seat, Ford step plates and the hard to find doors with built in handles for closing. * Engine and transmission have approx 8700 miles on them while the bod has 103,000 total..
