How often do you see a 1970 63B fastback with a 351C engine and a close ratio toploader 4speed with 3.25 posi traction-lok Axle ratio rear end. Out of 86,904 sportroof mustangs built in 1970 only 6464 were deluxe 63B fastbacks,168 had these paint and trim codes,712 had the 351M code with the close ratio 4speed toploader.A Factory tach in the gauge cluster that works is another surprise for this rare classic. Just take a look at the Marti Report and that will give you all the information this car came with from the factory. You can see it run : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxaX5o6ewxw It has the original factory deluxe fastback seats and foam in nice condition.The interior is in great shape as the photos show.We removed most of the interior and cleaned everything.New carpet was installed.Factory fold down back seat.A recent ppg base clear paint with the original yellow.No rust was found on this car other then some surface rust which was easily removed.Under the car is solid. All original to this mustang are the roof,quarters,fenders,doors,floors,drivetrain etc...We don't believe any original panels have been replaced except for the battery tray.If you look at the front bumper you will see a rare site for a 70 fastback, 2 factory front bumper guards.The original tire trim rings do have some curb scrapes.The wheel well rings are new. The original engine has been rebuilt by a professional engine machine shop.It was cleaned,magged, line bored,cylinder bored, with all high performance flat top pistons,clevite bearings,mellings oil pump and shaft,felpro gaskets installed with a performance cam.The 4bbl heads were rebuilt with regrinding valves,reseating valve seats to specs,restoring valve guides,valve spring check to spec,resurfacing head mating surface and new valve seals. The ford close ratio 4speed toploader with hurst shifter is also original to this car and was rebuilt.The engine has only run for about an hour or so.It will need to be broken in correctly.Oil will need changed after 500 miles.Has new battery and tray,starter, professionally rebuilt 4300 carb,new exhaust system,new shocks,new bumpers,new fuel tank,fuel line,fan shroud,hoses,new electrical parts,new brake booster, master cylinder etc... This will be a nice car for someone who appeciates the 1970 Fastback mustang.You could also make this a mach 1 clone or whatever you wish.We like to keep the cars close to factory specs as possible when all the original parts are there.
