Vehicle Detail

This is a very unique, clean IHC pickup. It is an original 4wd truck that has been well kept and always maintained. The engine is the original factory 266 V8 and it has the 4spd trans. The engine starts easily and runs very smooth. The trans shifts easily and functions as it should ( no grinding gears, no popping out of gear). It does have power brakes that work well ( they do squeak at times, but the linings have been checked and there is alot of life left in them). Believe it or not it has air conditioning. The A/C system functions correctly (compressor engages and the blower fan operates) but it doesn't blow as cold as it should. It appears to need a charge of freon. This truck spent most of it's life in Southern California, which explains why the A/C was installed and the fact that it has no rust on it. It also has the PTO winch option which does function. It has 93,000 original miles. The 4x4 system works fine. It is easy to engage and disengage the transfer case and the front hubs. The second owner painted the truck due to the fact that the original paint was wearing pretty thin. It looks Ok but it's not a professional job. It was done years ago and still is fine for body protection but if you wanted to restore it you would probably want to paint it. The original owner used the truck for camping and it had a camper on it so the inside of the bed is not all beat up like some of the old trucks you see. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line the tailgate was lost. The interior is very clean. No tears in the seat, good floor mat and all the gauges work fine. The lights all function (except the interior cab light). All the glass is in geat condition except the drivers door window is cracked and the windshield has one rock chip (star) that has been treated so it won't spread. I just took it on a 250 mile trip recently and it ran great. It's not a show truck but it is an exceptionally clean old survivor. Call me for details or any questions you might.. 509-868-1069.
