Vehicle Detail
This is the last year of the Trans Am and this is the factory Collector’s Edition. I am the 2nd owner and I have all the original paperwork, with the special collector edition materials as well. It only has 36K miles on it and has been garaged in Vegas since new. The paint and interior are in great shape and it's never been smoked in. I had the nose painted as the previous owner’s wife scraped up the bottom on a parking curb. It’s an automatic with T tops (with sun shades), power seat, monsoon stereo, the works. I replaced the factory subs with Bazooka dual coils, and it sounds great. It has been modified with all the right stuff. Heads, cam, long tube headers, and BBK throttle body. It dynoed at over 380 when the temp was 110. The trans has a shift kit and stall in it that matches the motor work perfectly. This is a fast car. It runs very strong and sounds great (this is not a quiet car). I have all the receipts for the work done (more than $7,000). It has brand new Nitto NT05Rs in back and NT05 in front. These are the BEST street tire out there and you need these for traction. Bought from Discount Tire with receipt and warranty. If you live where it snows, I'd suggest getting some winter wheels though. It also has new slotted and drilled rotors, brakes and other new parts. I get compliments on this car everytime we drive it. If this sounds too good to be true, here's the problems with the car. It has problems idling. I don't know why and it isn't all the time. But it will surge and die sometimes when you first start it. You have to hold the throttle at 1000 RPMs for about 30 seconds and then it's fine. And it doesn't happen all the time. I took it to a shop here and they retuned the car, but it still does it. Runs great going down the road, it's just an idle issue. I have dropped the price considerably for this because I don't know what's wrong, but I do know the motor is solid. If it's a cheap fix, then you're getting a super deal. I just don't have the time to try to find someone that can fix and we just don't drive it much (have 3 other cars). Please call me to discuss. I can send you pictures and video too. The power antenna doesn't work. It quit a couple months ago. You can hear the motor running, but I don't know what it would cost to fix (doesn't bother me) There is a small dent on the driver's door up high behind the door handle. No paint damage. Other than that there are no marks on the car. It GREAT shape for it's age. I'm 50+ years old and this car has not been abused. It is currently financed so we'll have to work payment through my credit union. I know buying a car online is tough when you cant see or drive it. I'll answer any questions I can and sent more pictures and videos if desired. I sold one online a couple years ago that's in my feedback if you hunt for it. I'm retired military and my integrity and reputation are very important to me. Call me at 702-448-4117. I'll return calls in the order I receive them. Scott Edit: The pictures of the wheels were taken a few weeks ago and don't show the new tires.
