This is a 1972 Cadillac Eldorado with only 31K original miles. It comes with an 8.2L engine, power convertible top, power steering, power brakes, A/C, and power windows. This Eldorado comes from California – so the body is very clean. It is not show quality paint – it does have some scratches and paint chips that have been touched up; but, for a 40-year-old vehicle, the paint has a wonderful shine – definitely local-show worthy! This Eldorado runs great – I would feel comfortable driving it back to California from PA. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The custom dual exhaust gives the car a nice rumble. This Eldorado runs straight down the highway and very smooth at 70 MPH. I did notice that the speedo shows a faster speed than you are actually going. The brakes seem very good as well – no pulsations and they feel tight. The interior is in great condition – again, for a 40-year-old car. And as you can see in the pictures – what a great color combination! The white seats show very little signs of wear. The carpet could use a better cleaning but it is in very good condition as well. The dash pad could use replaced as it is cracked form the California Sun but the previous owner had covered it with a high-end dash cover than looks very nice and presentable. The power top works – the rip (visible in pictures) has been patched. It is not caused by deterioration, but rather by the mis-alignment of part of the convertible top frames; there was a bolt missing – I will try to have it replaced before pickup. We purchased it in this condition. The back window is typically yellowed but not cracked. It comes with the custom tonneau cover that is in very good condition as well. The front driver’s headlight cover will need replaced – it was broken when I got it. The mileage on the car shows 31k – I have no reason to believe otherwise with the current condition that it is in. I’m not asking anywhere near the NADA value for the car – this is your chance to own a super nice driver that will only appreciate in value.
