Vehicle Detail
I have to install a new drainfield so unfortunately the Scout has to go. I purchased this Scout several years ago and have had quite a lot of work done to it. Details of this work are listed below. When I purchased this Scout the owner claimed the vehicle to have only 64,000 miles, I wasn't able to verify this but the overall vehicle condition is good and the engine compression was excellent so I tend to believe him. Since the purchase I have only added about 400 miles to the truck. The engine is a V-8 345, was recently pulled and a complete gasket kit installed, engine was painted as was the engine bay. The 345 V-8 runs strong and starts easy. Tires are GF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A 31x10.50, Four wheel drive on this vehicle works great. This summer I added dual flowmaster exhausts from the headers back and also had new rocker panels installed. Issues with the vehicle: Rust bubble on rear hatch top (see picture), Chipped paint spot on hood, Emergency break needs adjustment, speedometer and fuel guge needs calibration, early on I saw a small fuel leak at the carb, fuel line was tightened and it hasn't reapperared, slight oil leak at botom of engine. Heater fan doesn't work, fan motor was replaced with a new motor so I may have a switch problem. Truck had a VA state inspection last week. Please do not bid unless you intend to follow through with the sale, Please ask all questions and inspect the pictures carefully before bidding. Work done: New Stainless steel dash panel with new guages, Installation of complete engine gasket kit, installation of cooling kit (water pump and fan clutch), belt kit installed, steering stabilizer kit, frame stabilizer kit, Ranch RS5000 stocks installed, installation of new rear seat belts, new rocker panels and complete dual exhaust system (Flowmaster), new battery.
