A BRAND NEW 1989 SALEEN SSC!!!!! #11 With only 5.8 original miles on the car, it is new throughout. The plastic covers are still on the carpet, delivery tags and stickers still in place and most of all it still has the new car smell when you sit in the absolutely perfect interior. The first two SSC’s were delivered together to the dealer in Georgia without EPA certification; they were not to be street licensed until the certification was approved. The dealer kept one for himself and the other one was mine. The only time it has been out of an air conditioned show room was for a photo shoot for the cover of February 1990 Super Ford Magazine along with 4 passes down a quarter mile drag strip to establish an official performance record. This was a pre-purchased agreement I had made with Saleen in order to buy the car.
