1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia CONVERTIBLE Here is a very cool 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible. The car has a 1600cc motor and 4 speed manuel transmission. The motor was rebuilt at some point. It has new points, condenser, cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, belts and alternator. The car runs strong and shifts great. Brakes work perfect! Mechanically this car is A1 and has been lovingly maintained. I would consider driving it ANYWHERE with confidence!. Paint is driver quality and still presents well from 10 feet. However it does have its share of off color touch ups and chips. The rocker areas do have body filler and are a bit wavy. Floors are in good shape, but the drivers side does have a patch (it is solid and fine as is see picture). Original bumpers are also in decent presentable shape. Trunk area is clean and solid. Original interior is in decent shape. NO rips in seats. Dash pad does have some splits at the speaker perforations. Everything works including the horn, wipers, radio, turn signals. Clock does not work. Original top is presentable and functional but is a little tired and stiff. Tires have plenty of tread left. Car does have seat belts. Does have original jack and spare tire. Car really is a blast to drive! Here is a chance to own a classic karmann Ghia convertible at a reasonable price. This car gets attention whenever I leave the driveway.
