Due to an idiot who is threatening to sue me because he bid on the car and doesn't want to pay for it I am forced to relist. Do Not Bid If You Are Not Going To Pay! This Thunderbird served me well for years; recently sold it to a family member who never paid for it. It is drivable as is, but family member let a would-be-mechanic work on it and now it needs someone to fix what the would-be-mechanic tried to fix or you can drive it as is. I have been driving it to work (50 miles round trip) and it runs well and still averages 22 mpg. Keep in mind this is a used car that was well taken care of until recently and I'm selling it because I don't have the time or desire to work on it. I should note that once I got it back from family member, in order to be able to drive it again, I had to have the fuel pump replaced (8/11). The car starts right up and drives well, the motor runs strong and the transmission shifts firm. The alternator was upgraded from a 65 amp 2G to a 110 amp 3G from NAPA in march of this year. Things that need repair do not prevent the car from being driven. I would not have any problem driving this car a long distance, it is that reliable. I have been asked about the tires, they are: 215/70 R x15 B F Goodrich front. 275/55 R X15 BF Goodrich rear. The frontend was lowered 2". Brakes were replaced at Midas this year.
