After giving it a lot of consideration I have decided to sell the 89 5 Speed Turbo That I bought last spring. Reason for selling the car, I have my 86 505 TD Wagon and the 84 604 TD and then I also have an 95 Chevy Silverado. And after all I'm a "Dieselhead" . I love the versatility of the 505 Wagon The comfort and handling of the 604, and the Chevy as a backup vehicle! When I bought the car with 66500 miles, it had been sitting for sometime and had a lot of Electrical issues, after a lot of cleaning El. connections', car runs great, Starts right up and runs real nice, on very rare occasions, engine develops a slight 'Hickup" shut it of and restart and it's back to normal. Car is very fast!! with good working transmission, Suspension is very tight, Brakes are the best I ever had on a Peugeot, Even if the "Anti Lock Brake" light stays on all the time! This is the model that has the TORSEN Differential Since I bought the car I have driven it for about 2000 miles a couple trips 600 miles+ without any problems Climate control works well, A/C Blows cold!! Cruise Control, P. windows, Door locks, Sunroof, Lights, all works as they should! On a couple occasions the oil, Temp and the low coolant light will flicker! The interior is in real good condition for a 20+year old car, Car has an AM/FM/Cassette Radio installed and the org Peugeot radio in the trunk power antenna don't work! The Exterior of the car is OK but could stand a repaint as Clear Coat is peeling and paint is fading, specially on driver side front fender and front door I would say that the car has no visible rust, Tires are Legal, VA Inspection good to 3/2012 I have a couple offers on the car, but not sure of the value, so I'm planning to offer the car on ebay as soon as I get some good pictures taken, That way All interested parties have a chance!! From What I have been told this model is very rare as only 15 was imported with the 5 speed manual transmission and it is estimated that only 8 of this model are still on the road. And with less than 69.000 miles and I’m only the 2nd owner to drive the car, here is Your chance to get a very desirable car. Please note that on the carfax report, last recorded milage says 90.000 miles. When the widow of the previous owner got the car registred in her name she listed the milage at 90.000 when it was really should have been 66250, and that was the odometer reading when I bought the car!!
