I love this car, but have a new addition to the family, so it is no longer practical for me. I really can't say enough good things about it. Over the life of the car I've averaged 57.5 mpg and have made trips on the freeway where are I averaged well over 80 mpg. The car is in good condition, particularly considering it is a 2000, the first year these vehicles were sold in the States. I'm a big guy, 6', 270 lbs, and I've hauled myself and many a friend and their gear to go hiking in the mountains - having enough power is not a problem. I bought it new and have been the only owner/driver of the car. It has always been serviced at a Honda dealership and has been an incredibly reliable car. This Insight was way ahead of its time and still gets better mileage than almost anything on the road, other hybrids included. Buy this car, and the next time gas prices skyrocket, it will be hard for you to hide your grin when you pull into the gas station and the person at the pump next to you asks, "what kind of mileage you get?"
