1976 Camaro , and automatic transmission,power steering, power brakes. Only one owner. Purchased brand new from Cormier Chevrolet in Wilmington, CA. Over the years only 2 drivers, myself and my 82 year old mother that died last year. She drove it for approximately 25 years or so to the store and the doctor. She drove it even less the last 2 years she was alive. It was my first car. Clean Title, Recent registration tags, recently passed it’s smog check as usual. Vehicle is in running condition and still glides smoothly on the highway.. Vehicle was originally gray, and then painted burgundy, and then back to gray. Needs a premium quality primer and paint job to bring it back to its original luster. Interior is more of a brick red or burgundy color. Rear seats original blk/wht/red tweed. Don't have original mats. The car has some rust damage on the passenger side at the bottom panelon the exterior of the door near the front wheel, and when you open the door on the step (is that what you call it)on the passenger side. Good candidates for patch panels. The back window channel needs some fill in repair from some small rust issues. . There is also some rust damage on the underside of the trunk lid. The rest of the body is decent for its age, in my opinion. The interior pieces all come with it, and for the most part just need cleaned up and bolted in (interior door panels loose, need bolting in. Dashboard is stable, but there is a part that is loose when you pull the knob for the headlights and needs bolting in). I am not sure if I have the cigarette lighter component, I will have to look for it. But the receptacle is there (I am not a smoker). Heater and defogger works, but air conditioner doesn’t. Windshield wipers work, they need a little lubricating (seems like it thinks about it first when you turn it on). The cover for the interior overhead light is gone (it got cracked up moving something in it), last time I knew it was working. But there is no bulb in it. Both headlamps work (on one side some screws are missing on the headlamp ring that holds it in place. You will need a radio. It's got a lot of potential. Owned by female, who’s just not a car maniac and would not know what to do to “cherry it out.“ An ex-boyfriend added the spoiler, I got rid of the boyfriend thankfully. But the car continued on. I used to check my oil, radiator level, transmission,brake, and steering fluids, change my air filter and PCV air breather. I always made sure I had my oil changed and tune-ups. They don’t make em like this anymore. I am hoping the car will get someone who will love it as much as I do. The car has good bones it‘s a virgin just about, it would benefit greatly from some cosmetic procedures. If you are skilled or have access to the professional with the right skills this car could be the “Super model Hottie” of it’s time (I got some of the previous technical language from other ads). Or if a man were saying this I suppose they would say it could be a “BadA..
