Vehicle Detail

1975 Buick Lesabre Convertible - I purchased this car from an older woman who had held onto the car in a boat house for years. I believe myself to be the 4th owner. I got the car to have some summer fun with my wife and little guy. I planned on working on the car and holding onto her, but unfortunately, my dad is having some serious health issues and is low on money for medical costs. The car needs some attention, but has been a lot of fun this summer. It was purchased July 9th of 1975 in St. Paul MN. This is the first Buick I have ever owned, so I will do my best to describe the Lesabre. It is a light blue with white top and interior. There is rust on the quarters and fenders, as it has always been a Midwest car. The frame and undercarriage appear to be solid. The top has a glass window. It has wear and for appearance sake, should be replaced. It does not leak however. Top goes up and down fine. It is a 350 4 barrel car. She moves out real nicely, but needs carb adjusted, as she's a rough idler at start up. She does have a bit of belt squeal until she's warm as well. Lights, speedometer, and gas gauge work well. Gas tank has a leak when filled to the top. I have a new tank I just purchased for $400 still in the box. It is an AC car that needs a recharge. Interior is complete but needs some refurbishing. Overall, the car seems very unmolested over the years and seems to be very original. The Buick rims are very cool with the Buick caps currently in the glovebox. Trans shifts out real nice and really kicks it up on the open road. I haven't gone over the car too much, but the brakes and steering feel tight. Tires hold air nicely, but should be replaced. Exhaust needs attention near the resonator too. I am looking to sell as soon as possible to help out dad. I can answer general questions, but won't be able to address specific Buick questions, as I am not very familiar with them. I am back and forth for my dad, so I will answer questions as soon as I can. As the car is 36 years old, it is sold as-is, with no warranties, implied or otherwise. Buyer to pay $500 within 48 hours of the close of the auction, with the remainder to be paid in full within 7 days of auction's end. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks and good luck!
