1958 Buick Special This is a mostly complete project car that would be good candidate for restoration. This Buick was originaly painted Garnet red with a white top (never repainted) and a matching Garnet red interior with white trim, which is mostly still there; even the door panels (Removed). The Special is still running it's original 364 Nailhead V8 eingine (getting tired), and automatic transmission (very tired, no reverse). The exterior of the special is missing a few peices of door trim, tail light lenses, and the grille... maybe a few other small peices. There is some damage to the front fenders and hood (see pictures), but this is a super solid car with a bit rust in the rockers and a few small spots in one of the doors and corner of the trunk lid. Both rear quarters apear to be rust free, along with the frame and the entire underneath of the vehicle (very Clean). All of the exterior problem spots will be able to be seen in the pictures. This is an awesome looking 50's Cruiser, even in it's current state of being. One of the coolest parts about the Special, aside from all of the chrome on the rear of the car, is: the gas pedal start; turn the ignition on and then press the gas pedal to start the engine... pretty crazy. P.S. two of the tires go flat pretty quick. Shipping is entirely the winning bidders responsibility.
