Vehicle Detail

Ok guys If your looking at this auction you probably remember this style of car from back in the late 60's early 70's. This one had been in storage for some time when I found it a couple of years ago. I used it for my shop truck for awhile and decided I would freshen it up a little. Well you know the story, got started and can't seem to find the time to complete it. The front suspension has been rebuilt. New, big block springs, polyurethane bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm and drag link. rebuilt calipers, turned rotors, new pads, master cylinder and front end alignment. It has gasser style drop spindles on the front and new monroe air shocks on the rear. I installed a new HEI distributor, high performance plug wires, new plugs, fuel pump and rebuilt the carb. It is not an SS but has a new Goodmark SS hood and a good used 1972 SS grill I had left from another project. Also have new quarter skins and outer wheelhouses. The passenger side quarter has been removed and the quarter you see in the pics is only sitting on the car. The carpet headliner and door panels have been removed and I have a good used dash pad that goes with it. It has some rust in the lower quarters, lower front of doors and around the rear glass. The floor pans are excellent. It is also highly optioned with factory air, tilt, cruise, and power disc brakes. A/C compressor kicks in and blows cool but needs a charge and the cruise still works. Wheels are old school Rockets with good Hoosier tires. It runs, drives, shifts good and I was using it daily untill I started repairs. You could probably drive it home any distance but I would recomend transport if you are traveling a long distance. cool old project that I just don't have time to finish. You are welcome to view the car before bidding and suggest you do so. Car is sold as-is. Thanks for looking and I will be happy to answer any questions you have, Don.
