1971 Honda CB

There is No Reserve. VIN: CB750-1064091. Motor: CB750E-1064375 Built in November 1970 this is an original Candy Garnet Brown CB750 K1. I have a clear California Title in my name and it is currently registered. The bike is in excellent working condition, and the mileage may increase slightly if I use it this weekend. I have had the gauges rebuilt as the faces had become unsightly from exposure to the sun. (Photo available of their condition prior to restoration) However the same sunny climate here has preserved the rest of the bike very well. Nothing has been repainted, re-chromed, etc. The bike has never been down, but does have a crack in both side covers and some damage to the tank in the region of the emblem, that has not cracked the paint. As can clearly be seen in the pictures, the candy brown paint has faded to expose the greenish base coat in some areas and there is some additional gasoline staining of the paint on the tank. Having got these defects out of the way, it is certainly a handsome machine and a very good running one, with everything working as it should. The bike has its original HM300 exhausts which are completely solid and in highly presentable condition, as can hopefully be clearly seen in the pictures. The fenders and most of the chromework are in excellent condition, however the wheel rims have some minor pitting. The bike can be enjoyed in its original 41 year-old condition or could be repainted and have the wheels rebuilt to look really sharp. It is a great running bike and thoroughly enjoyable to ride. It's only a small thing, but the Walnut Creek Honda (long since defunct) license plate frame does not go with the bike. The bike is located about 25 miles east of San Francisco, CA. Payment: I require a $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of the auction's end. I also need full payment within 3 days of the auction's end by wire transfer or by the buyer making a cash deposit into my account at any branch of Bank of America.
