2001 S55 AMG, Powerful! Ultimate Options! Was worth $103,000 in 2001. This is not an S430 or S500, so if you don't know the difference you might want to do some search! Power everything. I will try to describe the car the best I can, simply because I myself, am picky about how a car looks and functions. But it's an 01, so expect minimal wear and tear. See below. NEW items or services:(within the last 4 months or so), prices include parts and labor spent: Front and rear brakes ($300)Front rotors (drilled) ($200)Thermostat and Coolant ($75)Air and cabin filters ($45)Transmission mount ($120)New Potenza tires ($1000)Front alignment ($100)Belt ($25)Belt Tensioner ($65) FYI: When I purchase a car I like to change these main items, regardless. This is the reason I changed it all, not because something was wrong with the car. Car has the original mats, which are almost NEW! On top of those are the plastic winter black mats, which I think have been on it for years. This is why the original ones are so clean. I also, kept the black ones on top to keep the original clean. In some of the pictures you will find the 2 or 3 very small scratches r dents on the passenger side. They are smaller than a dime, and hardly noticeable. The body is straight. Interior is so clean, you will be amazed. No broken wood or knobs, no rips. ALL seats re clean. Heated seats of course, factory CD changer in the trunk. Car came with a factory clear bra which is hardly noticeable. This protected the front of the car from any chips. I kept it on. If you want , you can take it off. Some of the wheels have small curb rashes. I fixed the 2 that had big rashes so now they look so great. Pictures can tell. I am only selling because I need to buy my wife a van, kids are growing up :) When I first purchased the car I noticed a vibration on 45-55 mph. Two mechanics said they noticed nothing. Took it to the dealer, and after 4 hours, they said the transmission mount was a little worn out. They changed it, and the car is as smooth as a bee!!. The engine on this car is amazing! So powerful to the touch of the gas pedal, when needed :) The sound of the motor and exhaust is awesome! I will definitely miss it. Battery in great condition, never had a problem with it. All electrical devices and instruments work 100%. No issues, No accidents. So, please don't waste your time and mine with cheap offers. She is worth it. My loss is your gain!
