Vehicle Detail

Number matching 1978 King Cobra Mustang survivor with original unmolested 302 V8 Engine with 4 speed manual transmission. This mustang is a true survivor in excellant condition inside and out with basically NO RUST. There is come surface rust in the normal spot under the hatchback which has been treated with an anti-rush agent.(see photo) Per the local auto body shop it would cost $100-$200 to sand and repaint the hatchback. The engine runs strong with no leaks and the transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. What appears to be the original paint is in outstanding condition with no major dings, scratches, etc. A simple wax and buff would bring the paint to show quality for a survivor. The interior panel above the glove box has been autographed by Carroll Shelby. The car also comes complete with the deluxe, framed Marti Report and window sticker which has also been autographed by Carroll Shelby. The Mustang Comes with the following options: King Cobra Apperance Package Deluxe Interior Removable T-Tops V8 302 5.0L engine 4 speed Manual Transmission Deluxe Console with coin tray Alloy Wheels with Cobra center caps Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel Bumper Protection Group AM/FM Radio Cassette player Air Conditioning(works but needs a new belt and recharging.
