This beautiful Mercedes SEL 560 was originally a southern car, and it's obvious to tell by looking at it. There is absolutely no rust anywhere, and the exterior black opal paint shines brightly. The original clear coat paint is still intact, and there are no noticeable dents or scratches on the exterior. The interior seats have a couple small tears (see pictures) as expected for a 25 year old vehicle. There are no "check engine" lights or any type of lights/codes in the vehicle. The car passed re-inspection last month and is good thru 8/2013. I only use Mobil 1 Synthetic for the oil changes (every 3,000 miles even though you can go to 6,000 miles with this oil)... I would never drive anything that doesn't use synthetic. Driving this Mercedes feels like floating on air, as the suspension is in excellent shape and the transmission shifts perfectly. The big 5.6 liter V8 makes this car extremely quick and responsive. I recently drove this from CT to NJ and would not hesitate to drive it across the US if needed. THE GOOD Runs and drives beautifully, no issues with engine or transmission. Never overheats, and absolutely no leaks. New Sony CD player with MP3 capability and new speakers (professionally installed). New high quality tint on all windows (professionally installed). Front brake pads and rotors were recently replaced this month. Oil change and tune up recently done at the dealership. Tires were recently replaced with new Michelins, and have approximately 80% life left. Vehicle comes with original manual, keys, and Ready Remote Start package (new in box, not installed) THE BAD Trunk release sometimes sticks, the trunk latch may need to be replaced.
