Up for Auction is a 1991 Cadillac Brougham Hearse built by Federal Coach of Arkansas. The car is in beautiful shape and has incredibly low miles! 40,600 original miles!!! Car is gray with a gray vinyl top and blue cloth interior. Has power windows, locks, seats, mirrors etc. Everything works on the car except the radio and antenna (the antenna mast is broken). I have not looked into the radio problem, it lights up but does not turn on. The body of the car is in beautiful condition. There is almost no rust, just one minor spot forming on the passenger side rear door(about the size of a 50cent piece). Doors are perfect on the car, as are the door jambs. Every person and mechanic who has seen this car cannot believe how clean this car really is. It was originally a PA car so it has not seen the salt of most NY cars. The interior of the car is as close to mint as can be, not a crack, rip, or tear anywhere inside. Almost no wear on the seats. The drivers side door panel is NOT cracked as is very common on these model Cadillacs, NOR is the dash cracked. All buttons work as do the power options. The passenger door however does not unlock with the power button it has to be unlocked with the key. The level ride feature still works great! All of the lights work including the opera lamps! There are very neat lights in the rear of the coach and i have included pics of these as well. This funeral coach features taller commercial glass all around, and it is all in beautiful condition. No cracks anywhere. It is a very impressive looking vehicle with its high profile roofline! You will stand out no matter where you are. It looks great in procession as the tallest vehicle. It is also very long, over 21 feet long! It is longer than most hearses. The chrome is excellent on this car! The bumpers look great and shine beautifully as does all of the chrome on the rest of the car! The vinyl top is slightly faded in certain light and has two rips in it. They are on the top portion of the roof and not visible from ground level. I have included pictures of both. The first is about the size of the width of my thumb, the second is slightly larger it appears something fell on the roof in that spot and caused the rip, its about the size of a couple quarters. but overall it is still presentable. The trim around the top is in great shape, and no rust anywhere around or under top. Car runs great. It is barely broken in at only 40,600 miles! The tires are excellent on the car, with well over 3/4 tread left. The brakes are still good. Vehicle was just NYS inspected in April and passed with flying colors. New battery was put in in March 2011. The only thing this car really needs is a muffler. It is not terribly loud but you can tell it has a hole in it. There are some minor scratches and knicks on the car. I have taken photos of the worst spots. I took the car to a collision shop and they said that most of them would buff out. The paint on the hood is slightly faded i have also included a picture of this as well. The same collision shop said they would wet sand the hood and that should clear that issue up. A/c works but does not blow cold air so it will need a recharge. I've never had any major problems. I've owned many hearses/funeral vehicles over the years but this is by far the cleanest I've owned. Even if you were looking for something to customize this is an excellent car to work with since it is soo clean and rust free. And with the higher roofline you can fit people comfortably in the back! All casket rollers are still present in back. nothing has been altered on the vehicle. It is all original. The pictures speak for themselves. This car isn't "mint" but it is really good condition. Not many left this clean and with this low mileage. Always garaged. Currently on the road and inspected. I take care of my cars! I love these style full size rear wheel drive Cadillacs!
