1941 Chevy Pick up 1/2 ton with tow boom. I bought this truck from the previous owner who had plans to do a total restoration but due to his age could not get around to it. He has kept it mechanically drivable for local parades and running to the local store and advertising for his service business. He has liquidated all of his assets and that is how I came about this truck. The truck comes with a clean illinois title that we were given from the previous owner that was last registered in 1960. The truck needs a complete interior redone or you could leave it the way it is and drive it the way it is. ( has original seat springs just covered with a aftermarket seat cover.) The gas tank was removed and the gas is run off of the tank by the boom. This is basically a rust free truck with a real straight body (no bondo) and all the original parts seem to be there. I would redo the wire harness( due to the original cloth wire harness showing some wear.) the brakes work but some of the wheel cylinders leak brake fluid so I have to pump it a few times after it sits to get pressure. I would replace the master cylinder and brake lines. This is a great entry level parade truck, car club truck, or a fun truck to drive around with very little work need to make it fully road worthy. As you can see in the video, I have driven the truck 50 plus miles per an hour and it went down the road true with no knocks, misses, or smoke from the engine. The clutch engaged right and the gears all shifted like they should. The left rear wheel has some broken wheel stubs that need replacing, the tires are so-so but do hold air and drive. The windshield window glass was removed but the windshield frame is there. The crank out is all there but is frozen and needs to be lubricated. there is a crack in the rear window. The side windows go up and down but need help guiding them. What you see in the pictures and hd video is what you will get. I do not want to over or under call this truck other than this would be a great beginning for someone to make a really neat truck out of or enjoy it the way it is. I do not know if the miles on the truck are actual so I am selling this truck as miles unkown. When I drive this truck around town, it draws people's looks and attention!
