1983 Honda CB

You are looking at the cleanest, lowest-mielage 1983 Honda CB100F that you will probably ever see for sale. It is not all original. It has been chromed in all the right places and it has a stainless steel super-trap exhauust in place of the original. The exhaust sounds killer. The bike turns heads everywhere it goes. When you park it, people will walk up to you going "Wow!"it is just that nice. But you won't want to park it much. It runs pretty much as Honda intended. Crank the throttle and it will attempt to rip your arms off. It has been a fun riding bike for me. Issues: The bike has the standard choke cable problem common to the 1100F bikes. So when it gets hot, the cable drags on the choke valves and the idle goes up or fluctuates. I just push the choke lever back down and all is fine. But if this bothers you, you will want to fix that. The only other problem is that the front tire has a slow air leak. I just add air before I ride. But again, if it bothers you, you will want to fix that. Otherwise, it is all push-the-button-and hit-the-road. It is extremely fun to drive and handles like a dream. The first two pictures show it with the original seat which is near-mint. But I currently have a Vietnamese seat on it that is more comfortable to me. You get both seats with the bike. I also have a spare rear cowl and spare side covers in very good original condition. I just picked this stuff up in case I ever needed the parts. I never used them But they go with the bike. Pick-up only in Pittsburgh, PA. No trades--need the cash. Yes, everything works--no exceptions. Yes, it has a current PA state inspection. I ride this bike a couple times a week. And finally, I am not in desperate need of cash or anything like that. It can sit here until spring and I will continue to ride it while the weather is good. The starting bid is a firm price and will not change. If it is still here in the spring, the current BIN will be the starting bid or I might decide to keep it. It's a tough call. I have other bikes and I am always back and forth about this one.
