Here's a 1966 Plymouth Satellite 2 dr hardtop. It has a 383 commando with 4 speed transmission. Car does run but needs work before driving. Motor has no knocks, but does smoke a little. Mostly black smoke. I have the original 4 barrel carburator, but put a used edlebrock carb on it to see if the smoke would go away. But no change. The car does have dual exhaust and large rearend. It has no power steering or power brakes. Just muscle. I replaced the master cylinder recently, but wheel cylinders need to be replace. Car stops but loose's prime when it has been sitting. The floor pans are pretty solid. It had one spot of rust at the gas pedal and a couple of spots in the trunk. I repaired both using a product call POR 15. Then treated all the floor and trunk pan with the sealer to keep any rust from coming back. I've had this car since July of 2000 and has been garage kept. I have Alabama registeration and certicard for the car. As well as the oringinal owner manual. The battery has been move to the trunk because the battery tray rusted away. The fender tag has also rusted it to nothing usable. The VIN number is on the car. But have no way to prove it's matching number car. The upholstery has been redone. Headliner has been replaced. New carpeting. Needs door panels. Dash pad in great shape. No cracks. Gauges work. AM radio, center console and dash in good shape. All glass is crack free and no hazing. Drivers window sags when you open door. I believe it has a roller that has come loose or broken. Haven't taking it a part to see. Has 4 brand new tires, never ran. the rims are factory and in descent shape. Could use repainting. The body has been prime in black and is know where near ready for paint. Just sprayed to prevent rust. I found a little bondo in the quarters but inside panels show no rust. Fenders and doors seem solid. Bottoms have no rust. Over all car has a pretty solid. Not a rust bucket. I do have the fender emblems that say Satellite commando. Also have all bottom trim with wheel welds. Some dents in the trim. Bumpers are pretty straight. Tail light lens I found on ebay and are crack free. back up lights lens are missing but have sockets. Trunk trim in good shape. Someone repainted, but not bad. Trunk lid and hood are solid. the car was oringinal red with black interior. Center console in good shape with nice shifer. Dash and window chrome trim in fair shape. Little pitting here and there. I have 4 brand new shocks that go with the car. I had on planning to car this car and restore as I go, but lost interest in car. She been sitting around the last 11 years in my garage and I need the space for my 36 Plymouth coupe. The car would make a nice restorable muscle car. Do not ask if it can be driven home.
