Up for bids is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe. The car is finished in black with a black interior. The car runs great, and pulls hard all the way to redline. Transmission shifts smoothly, with no indication of worn syncros. Mechanically the car is in great shape. All accessories work as they should, with exception of the clock and the AC. The car does leak oil when it sits, the leak is coming from the oil tubes, and valve covers. The car is optioned with front and rear Carrera Spoilers, and leather covered dash. It has also been upgraded with multi piece BBS wheels. The condition of the car is average, the paint is glossy but shows burn thru to the primer in the paint from being buffed. This is noted in the pictures. The car also has numerous chips here and there, and the paint is checked on the lower passenger door and fender. This is a southern car with no rust issues! The interior of the car is typical for it's age, and could use some TLC. The driver seat has two small tears, and the dash and package tray have shrunk due to the sun and heat. The carpet is above average, and still shows well. The car has an aftermarket alpine radio, and cd changer, All in all the car runs like a scalded cat, and I would have no problem driving long distances. I have set the reserve very low, so the buyer can drive the car, and restore when possible. The car would make a great first porsche, and with a little TLC would be very presentable.
