The R1100RT handles like a sport bike, aided as they are by the unique telelever front suspension and paralever rear. With the telelever front end, you can brake as hard as you want, and an RT will not dive. It has ABS (anti-lock braking system) for added safety in fowl weather or panic situations. It has 4 valve heads and puts out 90 horsepower. It has a windshield that is electrically adjustable for height with the push of your left thumb. Standard hardcase waterproof saddlebags and an optional top case for great luggage capacity. The R100RT is best known as a "sport tourer". With it's low maintenance oil/air cooled, boxer engine, this is a bike for the long run. The 90hp engine is strong, smooth and will operate throughout the rev band. Paint, mechanics, tires etc. are all in good condition. As with any used bike, there are some minor scratches and wear imperfections. Pampered and garage kept. Accessories included are: easy park bike mover, BMW police drivers backrest, two white helmets, custom mounted Garmin GPS system, full bike cover. All maintenance performed by BMW technicians at BMW of Plano, TX. Original owners manual available. Buyer assumes responsibility for pickup/shipping.
