1992 Mercury Capri convertible. One lady owner from new and just 92900 miles from new. Car has been a local Jacksonville car its entire life having been shipped here and first registered here and never moved since! Original throughout, original paint, original soft top. Only damage on car happened about 1 month ago when a tree limb fell on drivers side fender and then on the windshield which cracked it. As can be seen the interior is in very good shape although the carpet does have some stains but hardly any wear, dash is not cracked and all instruments, controls, gauges work as they should. The air conditioning works but does not blow cold, maybe just freon but as still a R12 system it would need to be converted to R134 to know for sure but compressor does still kick in! Tires are nearly new, underneath is very solid with hardly even any surface rust showing. Top is in very good condition with just one very tiny tear right on middle of front( damn tree limb again!). It takes about 1 minute to raise or lower and folds down completely out of sight. Car drives nicely enough, clutch and transmission still feel good, shifts real easy, engine is very peppy and revs very easily and freely. No untoward noises from underneath, brakes are strong enough and pull up straight and true. Have driven it in heavy traffic and it does not overheat or act up in any way. There is still the original space saver spare in the trunk which is untouched! Beware the little gas shocks for the trunk lid! They are worn and not to be trusted.....lol! Clear clean Florida title Future collectors car or just a fun little nippy economical beach cruiser? Either way it is cheap fun in the sun at no reserve! Please bid accordingly!
