1983 Honda Magna

This is one of THE nicest Honda V65's Magna's I have ever seen!! This thing is 99% original! I purchased this from the original owner who bought it in 1983. Due to age and health problems he had not been riding it anymore and it sat covered in his garage for the past 6 months. I bought the bike from him and had to have the carbs rebuilt from sitting. At that same time I also had them polished and they look great! Totaled out at $500 for carbs. The original owner kept this bike in the garage its entire life and it shows!! He also polished the forks, the rear grab bar and many other parts on this (as you can see in the pics). The paint is in great shape with only one tiny chip on the tank (can easily be touched up but I wanted to leave original). I also had to replace the seat cover (it was ripping) and I used a Saddleman set cover as it matches the original pattern. He also changed out the rear sissy bar to a taller one with a back rest but I still have the original sissy bar and it will go with the bike. This has 21,600 miles and runs fantastic! No leaks, shifting issues or any issues at ALL! Registered til Feb 2012. I will also be listing this bike locally so first come first serve. He also gave me the original manual and sales brochure from 1983 and it came with all receipts he had on the bike (battery, brakes, speedo gasket, etc). The only blemishes I would point out on the bike is the left side cover has a small 1" crack. (Very hard to see unless you're up close). The wheels have a VERY small amount of oxidation on the black but still look great! The handlebar little black cover shows signs of age. Other than that this bike is in AMAZING condition and a RARE find. The pics do not do it justice.
