1931 Ford Coupster. This was originally a coupe that has been converted to a roadster. It is set up for a tall driver (5'8" to 6' 4") The body has been reinforced with steel tubing. Frame is an original model a frame that has been boxed, z'd and has a Dagel Super X Cross member for superior rigidity. Split wishbones, drop axle, flaming river reversed corvair steering box. Rear has Ford 9 inch with Trac Loc (posi), 3:25 Gear ratio. Mounted with 42" ladder bars, transverse model a spring and tube shocks. Front brakes are F-100 drums with self adjusters. Rear end has F150 drums. This car was built with all new steering and brake componets. Engine: SBC corvette motor with Edelbrock aluminum intake and carb for good manners with just enough attitude. Trans: Turbo 350 automatic Corvette trans. This car is a great driver w/ proprietary Aluminum finish. All major fabrication was completed at Bear Metal Kustoms. A full hot rod and fabrication shop. The car left as a complete driver and made several long distance trips. The owner then pulled it down to repaint and detail. This car gets looks everywhere it goes.
