I have a 2004 GMC Savana 14 foot Hi Cube moving truck for sale. I am relisting this truck with NO RESERVE! I don't use this truck anymore, and insuring it is costing me money, so it has to go. This truck is a former Penske rental that I purchased directly from Penske in 2008 with around 68,000 miles on it. I am the second owner. The current mileage is 90,414. The truck is in great shape, with a longer and slightly wider cargo ramp than these were originally equipped with, which stores under the vehicle on a track when not in use and can be deployed and stowed in seconds by one person. The body is by Morgan, who are considered one of the best truck body builders in the U.S. This truck has been babied and had regular maintenance, both while a Penske rental, and as my cargo van. I have upgraded the suspension with rubber helper springs, so the actual GVW is probably 14,000 lbs., which is what the Allison rear dualie axle is rated for, but the truck is registered as a 10,000 lb. GVW. This means it is a non-DOT truck in Maryland, so you don't need a Federal DOT number to use this vehicle, and you are not required to stop at weigh stations, carry a medical card, or comply with any of the DOT requirements when operating this truck. The truck is Maryland Inspected, ready for tags and ready to serve you as a moving van, large work truck, parcel delivery truck, etc. If you lay carpet, hang siding or transport long lumber or drywall, the 14' interior length of the box make it ideal for hauling and storing 12' long material in a dry, secure cargo area. It has an automatic transmission, with power steering and a gas vortec V-8 which runs great and will give you years of reliable service. As you can see from the photos, it is in very good shape cosmetically, and features a trailer hitch, a full width roll up door, and a translucent roof in the cargo box to let some light in. A truck like this with similar mileage in the Mid Atlantic lists on the Penske website for around $10,000.00, and you have to get it inspected!
