The 2004 Saturn Ion Sedan 2 has a 2.2 L, 140 hp I4 engine with standard 5 speed manual transmission. Fuel consumption runs from 25 mpg in the city to 32 mpg on the highway. In interior comfort and refinement, Saturn still has a way to go.
