This is a sound 51 Lincoln from Fla., hasn't been used in Maine winters. The paint has a nice shine and has been professional painted but there are some defects if you look closely. The pot metal has pits but the other chrome looks good. What really shines on this car is how solid it is underneath no rust holes. The classic clock and radio don't work but everything else does such as parking brake, lights, wipers, turning signals, etc.. The speedometer works but the odometer does not so I can't be sure of the actual miles. The last owner said the engine and transmission were rebuilt. And they work very well. Like most cars on E-bay this car is sold as is where is with no warranty of any kind. If the buyer doesn't like the car before it leaves here that is fine, but when it has been shipped it is yours. Maine, Vt., N.H. Conn. Ga., are non title States on old cars. What you get from the seller is a notarized bill of sale, an old reg. in my name, and a copy of the Maine State Law. I have sold in many States that are title States without any problems, but to be sure check with your own State. And I suggest checking at the State level if no luck at the local level. The big reason I am trying to get together money for a car I want. Also I have been driving the car some and it goes good but I have noticed the Transmission leaks some of the time.
