Vehicle Detail
For Sale 1971 914 2.0 liter Porsche. I purchased the car about 4 years ago in Ohio. The Car had 65k on the odometer and had been stored in a trailer for a number of years. · The car has a new engine built by GEX international with a counterweighted crankshaft and electronic balancing at a cost of $5500.00+. I have the receipt. There is about 500 miles on the new engine. (Dual carbs NOT the original fuel injection system) Also have the old engine the original 1.7 liter · New brakes and brake lines front and back. · 2year old wheels · rebuilt rear axles and shift linkage (By Automobile Atlanta) · rebuilt pedal cluster (By Automobile Atlanta) 99% of the rubber has been replaced. Doors windows, trunk, and hood, both front and rear bumpers. Rear has a small spot on the right corner not bad at all see photo. I have a sail trim kit that hasn't been installed, and a new Targa roof Liner. The interior is a couple years old it’s black perforated with red stitching. Here is what doesn’t work on the car. The horn, there is no wiring easy fix. The Radio works intermittently which makes me think there is a ground problem. The dash lights same thing. When I bought the car it didn’t have a heater control or fan hooked up and the trunk needs a new switch. There is a small dent on the top of the right fender. Other than that everything is good. This car needs a good paint job some new tires and you will have a very nice 914. This is a non-fuel injected car with a rear shift transmission. My total investment with this car is substantially more then you will pay. This price will include all my parts including the original 1.7 liter engine in a box. Good luck and happy bidding. Any questions on the car feel free to give me a call at 850-499-2213 ask for Joe.
