Looking for a good home is my 1981 Corvette ‘Big Red,’ with 350/350HP motor. I am the third ‘caretaker’ passed carefully down from owner to owner. Red has been my weekend sanity break and is a big favorite with my fellow corvette club members, she runs and drives strong but it is time for my daughter to start college so she's yours for less than the cost of my parts.... This car is a great driver! Nice Red-on-Red Leather. It has a new crate 350 engine (approx 5k miles on it), with Edelbrock carb customized wiring etc. so it goes great; new calipers, brakes, lines, and master cylinder so it stops went you want to; new vacuum lines and actuator etc so you can see where you are going at night; windshield wipers work in case of the rain; all new weather stripping so you stay dry under your mirror t-tops; new door window motors for pleasant driving; side pipes so it has that great V8 rumble as you drive; and a new stereo system to listen to your favorite tunes as you cruise along. Overall the vehicle's exterior is clean, there are some scratches, nicks, spidering in the usual places etc. after 88K miles but it is still a head turner that looks great going fast and looks fast standing still. There is an average of amount of wear on the interior. The dash and leather are very good.The engine temp gauge recently went out, I believe the sending unit needs to be replaced. The tachometer is also not working but with the car being an automatic it never mattered. Clean CarFax. Low reserve.
