I took the pictures for the listing yesterday. My camera date does not function correctly. Up for auction is a Nissan 240 SX convertible with 152 + thousand miles. We purchased the 240SX in the summer of 2009. We have been using it on the weekends and any sunny day we had a chance to get out and have some fun. Trips to the lake, driving through the mountains of the Ozarks or just going around town on the weekends is a blast. Myself I do drive the car during the week some but we do not drive the car on an everyday basis. We got the car with 140,000 miles and have loved every second of driving it. Mechanically speaking this car is in good condition. There are no known oil leaks. I have it parked in the garage with cardboard under it looking for oil leaks and have found none. Oil changes have come every 3-4 thousand miles. Never once has the car failed us. Like most convertibles that are almost 20 years old, there are some minor water leaks when it rains. The estimates to replace the top is 350 to 400 dollars. The mechanical function of the automatic roof is in excellent condition. There is a dent in back where the previous owner tried to "push" the car when it was stuck in the snow and the key hole for the drivers side is seperated from the handle but still works. It is not detached from the car, it is cracked where it connects to the handle. The paint is in good shape also. I can not find any signs of rust and there is no indication that the car has been repainted like over spray under the hood. There are a few spots where the paint is pealed a bit but it is not through to the metal. The Dash is in good condition, the carpet does not have rips or tears in it. The back seat has one or two burn holes in it. The hood will need a new latch for the hood to stay down tight. It does not come "up" when we are driving it, but it will pop loose. Those are the issues that I see with the car. Now, lets move to the positives. It is still an extremely great car to drive and performs great. Maintenance has been on a regular routine and we have done a lot of work that makes the car perform like it does. The engine has always been in great shape since the day we got it, let me list out some of the things we have done to the car in the last 10,000 miles (we have had it about 20,000 miles): 1. Front and Back end rebuilt. 2. New Struts 3. New Tires 4. Stablizer bar replaced. 5. Brakes fixed and new pads. $1,700 for this work. 6. New Radiator (1,000 on radiator) 7. New Battery 8. New Spark Plugs 9. New Spark Plug Wires 10. New A/C belt 11. All hoses for Radiator 12. Many other belts and hoses replaced. He had done many repairs to the car and it ran and still runs excellent. We purchased the car with 140,255 miles on the car and the odometer reads 152, 667 miles at the current time. Shipping and Payment: Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Buyer can personally pick up the 240SX from me in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Seller is not responsible for shipment or liable for any damages caused in shipment. Buyer assumes all responsibility. Deposit: $500 deposit within 3 days of auction close and will pick up or arrange for transportation of car within 10 days. As long as arrangements for transportation have been made and seller agrees (such as transport not available for14 days) we will be more then happy to work with that. It would be best to verify with transport company what leeway time they need. Balance must be paid in full before car can be picked up.
