Up for sale is one beautiful 1973 Porsche 914 with a 1.8 liter engine with 5 speed manual transmission. This car has been restored and everything has been rebuilt or replaced with goodies as follows; ENGINE 1.8 engine was rebuilt less than 5k since,excellent compression and power Upgraded to a Weber carb that is excellent match with great power response Electronic distributior(no points to clean) Marine Gel Battery(battery tray is good) Four into two Monza exhaust with quad tips out the back(sounds awesome) New Alternator Rebuilt Starter DRIVETRAIN Transmission has all new shift bushings and shifts good through all gears Adjustable rear suspension with Bilstein shocks front and rear BMW Big brake upgrade kit installed with braided stainless brake hoses(stops on a dime) New tie rods and ball joints(Handles excellent and very straight to the road) Aluminum Fuch style Porsche logo 15 inch wheels Brand new Goodyear tires with less than 5k on them Wheel bearings are fresh and tight EXTERIOR Side rocker panels are raised letter PORSCHE and were aftermarket from the 70s' Front and Rear Bumper are very nice looking and smooth(not lumpy like most) Front and rear 914/6 airdam All chrome is excellent and all there Brand new Porsche hood ornament Painted with PPG Concept smoky silver metallic and PPG concept clear coat Brand new Front Lenses and Rear Euro tail lenses with excellent condition taillight buckets New Targa seal,New window seals in and out INTERIOR Brand new White seat upholstery from Porsche Atlanta Black outer and black doorskins are very good condition with minimal refurbishment done MOMO steering wheel Dash was previously cracked in a few spots but has been repaired New black interior carpet with black floormats Front and rear trunks have brand new carpet as well as new trunk seals and new paint throughout Rear Trunk space got new paint and a black rubberized undercoating under carpet mat and on trunk inner lid New set of Porsche keys New Front and rear trunk seals Alpine Cd player with bose speakers in kick panels and in center console OVERALL This is a sweet little ride that is reliable as a daily driver or can be a weekend play toy The car handles very well and rides better than a new one did with the suspension upgrades and larger 15" wheels Stopping is quick with the BMW brake upgrade kit Previous rust issues were cut out (passenger floor pan was replaced) There was some rust in the lower rear trunk seam cut out and fiberglassed then rubberized Sail panels were removed and there was a few spots under them that was cut out and glassed You will be pleased with the car inside and out Turns heads everywhere as she looks like new everywhere.
