1985 Porsche 911 Targa Up for auction is my Porsche 911 Carrera Targa. I am the third owner and I've owned the vehicle since 1998. She still runs well, the clutch is solid it really turns heads whenever on the road. The odometer reading stopped working at 185k miles. I'm guessing the mileage is easily <195k as I only drive it when I visit my mom to keep the soft spots off the tires and components healthy. I have complete service records. There are NO existing LIENS and I do have the vehicle title. This vehicle has never been wrecked or in a car accident. There are no signs of body rust. The engine is the stock Carrera 3.2 with approximately 215hp. The Features:New paint job. Over $8k. The entire exterior was repainted Guards Red in 2008 due to a theft/vandalism (as noted on Carfax). The shop (Platinum Collision, Marietta GA), did an excellent job! This car has seen <1000 miles since the paint work was done. All the tedious rubber body seals and trim (including Targa rollbar edge seals) were replaced with OEM replacements so there's no need for Armor All or the like to make the Black trim look nice. This car has not seen snow or inclimate weather since being repainted. New front windshield. (The paint shop felt it best to have this done while the car was being painted).New tires. <1000 miles on them.New Alpine head unit.New Alpine power amp. New Focal 2-way componentsNew Front brakes added <3k miles agoDriver AND passenger electronic seats. The most recent maintenance work was: fuel line replacement, alternator and A/C belt replacement, oil / filter change, new clutch release fork and clutch shaft seal and new oil return tube seals. The Needs: Rear brakesFloor carpets New Targa top (current one has a 1" cut and the inner lining and components should be refurbished. A 2nd Targa top will be included with the car to be used for spare parts) Valve guides (she lightly smokes if idling for more than 5 minutes and burns a quart or two between changes). Top end rebuild (acceleration is still strong but this is probably due in 10k or so more miles)There is a paint chip on the front bumper.
