up for auction today is a 1986 f-150 xlt lariat two wheel drive pick up truck. runs and drives good. clear north carolina title. the engine is a 1983 460 cid with the original 4 barrel holley carb. transmission is a c-6 automatic. the rear end is a 9" ford with unknown gear ratio, probably a low gear because it gets decent mileage for what it is, about 13.5 mpg's. not bad for what it is, a serious work horse. many new parts including: tires, drums, shoes, pads, wheel cylinders, 3 flexable brake hoses, axle seal and bearing, belts, hoses, thermostat, flushed, aluminum tool box w/keys. interior is in really good shape. cloth seat sits good. no issues with it except the top of the door panels are faded from the sun. cd player with new front door speakers. could use window felts also. the truck originally has a/c but the compressor and condenser is missing. the truck has been painted before but has always been red. not perfect but is a 20 footer. miner scratches and dings. bed liner included. no signs of any accidents. frame is solid and straight. front and rear swaybars. also has a class 3 hitch. electric brake controller (not hooked up), wired for a 4 flat and a 7 round. if you need a work truck with power, then this is it! if you're looking for a reliable weekend truck for household chores, then this fits the bill also. if you want one to restore, this could be it also since it has no rust. the choice is yours. please ask all questions BEFORE bidding. vehicle inspections are welcome and encouraged. everyone has a different opinion of things and see things differently. winning bidder is responsible for shipping of truck and all costs in doing so. i request a 250.00 non-refundable deposit within 2 days of auctions end. balance due within 7 days of auctions end when vehicle should be picked up. cash only on the balance .
