This is a 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT Four Wheel Drive. This is a one owner pickup. Has a new starter. I went and picked up this pickup from my Grandpa. My Grandparents bought this pickup new. In 2001 while in Montana the pickup wasn't running good, so my grandpa took the pickup to Napa and had the top end of the Motor rebuilt. New pistons, rings, Shaved and polished Heads, and valve work done. He spent a little over $1800.00. After returning back home to California my Grandfather had to go to the DMV to renew his License. He failed the test and the pickup sat ever since. Last Christmas I took a Flat bed trailer down and picked it up. After getting it home I got it started. It starts very easy every time and does not smoke but seems to have a lite miss. I drove it to the mechanic shop they said carburator needed rebuilt from sitting. I drove the pickup to work while my Tundra was in the shop. Drove fine. This has a 400 motor, Dual Fuel tanks, after market vacuum gauge and water gauge. It was bought with the canopy but if buyer does not want it I will take it off. My Grandpa took good mechanical care. If there is any questions feel free to email or call. (541)521-3836.
