1956 Bel Air Wagon I am selling this car on behalf of my bosses wife who received this Bel Air from her parents as a gift last Christmas, but does not want it. She mentioned to them that she liked Bel Air's not expecting them to purchase one for her. I do not have all the details regarding the car. This car was purchased at Arroyo Grande Auto Sales in Arroyo Grande, CA in December with 39,029 miles and was driven to Los Alamitos, CA with 39,108 miles. Everything but the AM/FM Radio/Cassette, battery, and door speakers looks to be original. There is some rust on the manifolds so I presume that the engine is original. There is some rust on the bottom of the frame, but is light and can be sand or bead blasted off. The front shocks look pretty new, but the back may need to be replaced as they looked original. he outside is in excellent condition minus some rusting on the chrome. There was some maintenance performed before the title was transferred to her from the dealership. I have listed the items fixed below: Set and replaced valve cover gaskets New radiator, coolant, hose clamps Fan bolts & washers New ignition switch & lock cylinder New ignition bezel nut Transmission mount New radiator cap Repaired steering column Repaired shift linkage This vehicle is two tone black and white inside and out. I really enjoyed driving this beast and would really like to buy this vehicle because it is a head-turner, but I can only afford one car payment at this point in my life. I thought my Lexus would do that for me, but this is a sexier car by far. I have listed this locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
